This cheerful cluster necklace is an homage to the domestic arts as practiced by women in the first half of the 20th century.  Anyone who ever rooted around in their mother's or grandmother's button tins knows that more than buttons were to be found there:  spools, tokens, odd bits of costume jewelry, thimbles, and old keys seemed like buried treasure to our yound eyes.  Here, Grandmother's Buttons has reproduced a vintage spool label on metal and mixed it with a vintage 1940s plastic composition button and wonderful 1930s China stencil button.  Necklace is 28 inches long.
